So with the introduction of the 1.5 Alpha firmware I noticed that the sync loss counter continues to count up despite the engine maintaining sync. I'm guessing this might be because the cam sensor was used during cranking to sync up and then the firmware is just counting the teeth on the crank after establishing where TDC for cyl 1 was. Is that correct?
Timing remains solid and as commanded, so I'm not super concerned about this as the MSpro VR inputs have a tough time in dealing with Toyota VR sensors, especially when it comes to low tooth counts like a single tooth on the cam. Under the Check Engine light settings there is a threshold for sync loss and now with the new method of showing the lost sync (even though engine running) I cannot disable the check engine light, even if I disable the sync loss check dropdown. .

Can you post an MSQ and data log of the bogus sync loss counting-up behavior?
