Hello, in some tracks or specially on the street there is not enuogh grip like we would like to have, when you have a a powerful engine for your car's capacity to put power on the ground you need some help, I know there is the traction control but not always is the best, a simpler method to staying in your powerband (if you are launching from zero and your front tires slip too much change to 2nd gear and the rpm goes down before the powerband the boost goess down and that is annoying) so I'd like to have a shiftlight based on rpm and speed (sensor at the not driven wheel).
for example:
1st over 6000rpm and 50km/h
2nd over 6000 and 95 km/h
.
.
.
etc
because in first gear the engine could be over 7000rpm but the tires are slipping and the real speed of the car is 35 km/h.
thanks
shift light per speed (not per gear)

Seconded. I've had this very request from many drag racers.

Re: shift light per speed (not per gear)
Would using the rpm based launch limiter work for this as a cure? My car drives similar and if I blow the tires off my setup Gos a little sideways bouncing off the limiter at 7800. Using the rpm/mph based setup cures everything

No, we only really need a light, not something limiting the engine.

Yes, on the street one street has more grip than the other, limiting the engine will help of course but a shiftlight per speed would be very nice to have.
