Hello
I was wondering what i need to hook a gm TAC module to a ms3pro. I have a pedal and a tb and a TAC module. I just want to play around with it on the bench.

Thanks

Hello,

I'm currently looking at this functions too and I have some questions :
  • External controller send "Pedal position" and "throttle position" to the MS3
  • MS3 send "Throttle position target", "RPM" and "Current gear" to an external controller
  1. From what I can imagine in regard with tunerStudio, Throttle position target send by MS3 is issue from a lookup table between "Pedal Position" and RPM. So why MS3 send RPM and current gear to the module ?
  2. What kind of operation MS3 do with the "throttle position" send by the external controller except than using it in tables and other strategies that use TPS% ? Is there a check ?
  3. If CAN bus communication fail, external module may apply a safety strategy (1:1 pedal/throttle response) ?
  4. If CAN bus communication fail, how Megasquirt will handle "NO" TPS% ?
  5. How IDLE addition operate ? Is Max idle addition is a scaling from IDLE% (0-100%) to "Max IDLE addition" ?
  6. In this case, how ALS is taking in account with DBW ? Maybe using ALS as it exist now and setting "Use IDLE Valve" is enough ? But In the case we can't open DBW widely but only at "Max idle addition" position (default 5%) ?
Best regards,
Manu

Hi Manu,

Do you have any news about it?
Did you realize that? In less than a month I have to do the same, but I do not yet know how

Thanks
