CAS RB26 R33 R34 different

Post by AbatelliCristian »

Hi,
in recent months, I'm working with Skyline R33 R34 engine RB26.
I noticed that r33 r34 have a different cas. First difference is order wires. The order 1-2-3-4 is inverted 4-3-2-1 in the cas. This is minimal problem.
Second difference is the signal. R34 is opposite R33 and the falling rising setting is insufficient. The 'only way is to reverse the hardware level signal.
I realized that the problem for the code is LowRes signal. Now I inverted it with optoisolator, no problem, but I think this may confuse many people.
I tried flip rotate, but I have not seen any effect.

My idea is: Is possible insert "FLIP ROTATE" for low res?

Regards Cristian

The input capture setting should do exactly what you are doing in hardware.

Hi James, thanks for replay.
Flip rotate inverting hires, but is indifferent for sync. The problem is lowres
Falling-rising, reverses the direction of rotation (so I understand)

I attach composite

No it doesn't. It changes the input capture polarity.

I James,
in the second and third photo I have inverted Falling-rising, but in the composite I see reverses the direction of rotation . I'm doing it wrong?

I don't see how it could reverse the direction.

If you have a spare CAS, please send it to me and I'll try it out.
