I just got done redoing some intercoolering piping for some testing coming up this weekend, and I left my bov off. Then started thinking about the 100% open idle feature and thought if a decay time was added it may make it so (in my case) no bov would be needed. I tend to ease off the throttle at the end of a pass anyways, but if leaving the idle motor open for a second longer would allow the engine to digest the compressed air
Just a thought I had

I'm not sure the IAC would be able to release as much air as the BOV... or if it could, if directing it into the intake manifold is really what you'd want to do.

I know it's not the same as the 50mm bov, just something I was thinking would maybe help in some situations. Like having a cranking to run taper, could have wot to initial value taper
Maybe I could just use a large initial value in the higher bins and could accomplish the same thing I'll play with it tomorrow if weather permits

That sounds sort of like the dashpot adder.
