MAPdot, advance and Knock

Hi guys,
I have question:
To high rpm, if I press tps and the turbocharger spoll, in many cases I have knock. If I press TPS at low rpm and I run to high rpm I dont have knock.
The knock is during spool for a few time.

I did not properly analyze the logs during this problem, but I think is possible use RPMdot for detect the spool. In this case, my idea is a curve for decrease advance during spool.

You think is good idea?

By the way, this sort of issue is where having the registered version of MLV or even better, MLV HD. Also having knock detection is a huge advantage.

I have all license. When i tuned the engine I have always headphone. I m sure when the engine have knock. During spool is critical condiction.

Here is what a knock trace looks like. This happens to be a different system but similar.

my point is, you need to know exactly where the knock is happening an where the motor came from right before the knock started was noticeable. Histogram view makes that very easy. Histogram view comes with MLV HD.

Here is what a turbo motor looks like on a histogram plot. In this case the field is showing where I need to add or pull fuel, but in your case I would have knock in the field. When chasing a motor with knock issues, I would filter out all data where knock was not an issue. The lines show where the motor travels thru the map.
