Oil Pressure shutdown bug?

Post by NiceMan »

Driver say before, when drive and open Fuel VE in TS motor try die, if motor idle and open Fuel VE or similar its die, if not die there its die when hit burn button...
Yesterday I see at Spark Cut come Red so ms3pro cut spark some reason and i find what it make, Oil Pressure shutdown take off then problem go but if its put back then its stop motor when hit Burn...
Oil Pressure is 2.5bar in idle and over 4bar from 2000rmp and shutdown is set to 0.7bar so ms3pro think at oil pressure drop when hit Burn button but in real its not drop.

Ok. I will investigate, but without those files it would be very difficult to be sure I am testing correctly.

Any chance you could take a video of the problem when you open the Fuel VE table? That sounds really strange. I've tried it on the bench and don't see it.

Also, at the same time, please enable "Comm Log Debug" from the TunerStudio Communications menu before the test. When you have repeated the problem, exit TunerStudio and then zip and email the TunerStudioAppDebug.txt file from your TunerStudioProjects directory to james@nscc.info. That should capture all of the serial communications between TunerStudio and the ECU and I hope to see more what is happening.

On your oil pressure issue, I see the log. Are you saying that the reported oil pressure suddenly dropped to -0.3 bar (?) and then the engine stopped? When this happens please measure the voltage on the sensor wire going to the ECU.

I looked at your MSQ again. You have the Oil Pressure using "Sensor 4" as the input. Generic Sensor 4 is transmission temperature ??

I have changed the wording on that page for the next beta to hopefully make it a bit clearer.
