synch loss with 1.5.0
bench testing with the 1.5.0 i keep getting synch loss above 8000 rpm
this is with a 60-2 wheel
the exact same hardware with 1.2.4 has no problem turning 10000 rpm
maybe overlooking something here but i can,t see it
already adjusted the pots
voltage 2 full turns clock wise
hysterix 1full turn clockwise

Do you have installed c39 capacitor?

Re: synch loss with 1.5.0
i would most definitely call this a software issue not a hardware
it sees the tooth but runs into trouble

The Trigger Logger isn't very interesting, don't bother with it.
However, the Composite Log you posted does have sync loss on frame 31. The input signal appears ok?
I've tested this on the stim with your tune and it seems ok up to over 13000 RPM.

Re: synch loss with 1.5.0
Maybe it would help to post actual tooth-log files (CSV) instead of just screen-shots.
Also, the MSQ posted shows COP with no CMP input. I don't see how that can work at all. Can anybody explain to me?

I wasn't saying "everything is ok". However, it is difficult for me to investigate an issue when I cannot replicate it.MS2tester wrote:well i have no clue as to why i am seeing this but everything must be ok then
Do try taking some Tooth logs and posting the raw CSV file. Perhaps something will show up there. That one captures data a little later in the tach-in code so might show something slightly different from the composite logger.

Re: synch loss with 1.5.0
We are asking for the CSV for a tooth-log. What I see above are ones for comp and trigger logs.

Re: synch loss with 1.5.0
Thinking on this some more.. 1.2.4 is a long time ago and so many changes in the code have been made that it is difficult to identify any one change that is causing your issues.
Unfortunately, as I noted, I am not able to replicate an error on the bench at this time.
Are you able to try intermediate releases? Maybe if we can narrow it down more I will have more chance of finding what changed?
Use an iterative bisection method. In this case, try 1.3.4 and 1.4.1. Then go halfway (in alpha/beta) between good and bad and repeat.
