Trigger output based on crankshaft angle

Post by Dennis_Zx7r »

For an experimental setup, I need a trigger signal at a specified crankshaft angle.
For example, I'd like the MS to put out a pulse at 10°BTDC.

I guess I could watch the spark output and subtract the ignition advance, but maybe there's an easier way?

This is currently not possible. There was a discussion a long time ago by Ken, who proposed the "angle clock", but I no longer think it's in the todo list.

The knock system allows for an angle based windows output signal, perhaps you could tap into that.

The int/hold signal? That means that he won't be able to use the exact know window that he wants, but obviously there's no other way.
