Semi sequential to full sequential "quick start" feature
Hi,
i have seen on another ecu software a "quick start" feature that runs (in case the trigger pattern allows of course) semi sequential and wasted spark during or under max cranking rpm only and then goes fully sequential after that.
So ecu i guess uses crank trigger only during cranking? (would help me a lot in a recent install i did where cam sensor 12v feed is reduced during cranking).
I have seen within tunerstudio we can do that with injection but not with ignition.

The code already does this for "Toothed wheel" with "Dual wheel with missing tooth"

The original poster is running a 36-2-2-2 variant.

Re: Semi sequential to full sequential "quick start" feature
Sorry i forgot to mention the 36-2-2-2 that i was dealing with some days ago.
Would there be a problem if i permanently wired the hall effect 12v source to battery for the cam sensor on that setup? (36-2-2-2vvt)
I was having problems with cranking 12v getting too low to that cam sensor ergo engine not starting. Im afraid starter is consuming a lot of amps.

I know the long term goal is to implement this for every wheel combination that allows it. I do not know what the timeframe is for the short term.
