MS3 Gold - Potential Bug? TC Reactions

Post by goodysgotacuda »

I am getting into setting up my traction control and I can't quite get a handle on the reactions. MS3 Gold Box. MSQ and log attached in second post.

As you can see my (Slip x Time) pegs out at 110, my Spark: Traction Retard pegs at 13.0°

Where I am misaligned is how the (Slip x Time) is correlating to my reaction plot. As you can see, 13.0° of retard would be about 12-13 (Slip x Time) according to my plot.

Where is it getting the 13.0° of retard from at 100 (Slip x Time)? I would expect it to react "off the charts" and respond at 25° of retard....what am I missing?

This appears to be a display issue, slipxtime is showing up 10x the value it should. So in your case it is really 10, not 100.

Thanks James, how did you determine that?

Sorry but is that something that I could somewhat easily remedy?

Rescaling the amount in my head while looking at a log by 10 isn’t too hard to do however.

I don't know if you got it already and I'm on my phone so if can't look at your log but I had the same problem.
Ended up the X axis on my T/C reations needed to be multiplied be 10 to correlate to my log. So a time x slip of 25 on reactions would be a 250 on the log.
