I am experiencing new problems with my install, I had sync loss occur in a few places this morning, at about 5500 rpm, I have attached the composite log and the data log of the engine when this happened. during the data log at 64 seconds and once again at 81 seconds, in the composite log I have a full second between tooth counts and it shows synced (page 22 of the log) then in pages 26 and 27 I have sync loss recorded and then once again on page 57 of the composite log.
In the same data log the engine turned more 6000 rpms without the rpm loss a couple of times( those records were in the part I had to cut from the log).
Any ideas?
PS In the past I have run the engine more than 7500 rpm without issue.
sync loss, no tooth count for 1 second

i think the gap on page 22 is a rendering issue and your real problems are on pages 26,27 & 57 I i did have a peek but did not initially see what the cause for the sync loss was

Re: sync loss, no tooth count for 1 second
any idea's...... I am wondering if I need to change my ignition filtering settings or what I might be able to adjust, is there a better log to record? I did composite, should I try tooth log?.

Re: sync loss, no tooth count for 1 second
did you have a specific reason to turn the noise filtering on? was it worse with filtering off? do you have a data log that has the status1 field in it? oh your cam signal happens every rotation of the crank as well.

Re: sync loss, no tooth count for 1 second
I turned on the noise filtering when I was using a distributor and was having a noise problem on the tach signal. I haven't tried turning off the noise filtering since changing over to the distributorless ignition, using the ls truck coils.
During the weekend I made a couple tuning passes, and the engine turned to 7100 rpm without sync issues, I still haven't figures out why it had sync issues when I started this thread. I haven't changed anything and the engine isn't having any problems going right past 5500 rpm.. I have been logging the lost sync field and haven't had a single sync loss.
