SD Card logs in .MS3 format

SD Card logs in .MS3 format

Post by dochka »

Hi,
I tried using an SD Card in the MS3 ecu, when I insert the card in the laptop to view the datalogs, they're in the .MS3 format and I can't view them in Mega Log Viewer;
I tried changing them to .msl , but the log fields are empty;
I tried changing the settings in TunerStudio... Nothing works

The Browse/Import SD Card function stays always blanked in TS
If I open the "Convert Binary Log" option, I get this error message Graph Panel Not Initialized

Is your laptop connected to a powered up ecu when you check the sd card function?

No, I unmount the card from the ecu and put it in the SD card slot in the laptop offline, then try to load the data

I don't understand why that would be greyed out. I've done exactly that to process SDcard datalogs at the track this weekend just gone.

I've moved this topic to the TunerStudio sub-forum, perhaps they can offer some insight.

If you remove the card from the ECU, then "Browse / Import log will be disabled as that option is for TunerStudio to read the log files from the ECU.

What version TunerStudio are you using?
When do you get this error, as soon as you click it or after it says it is done?

I'm using version 2.9.120
I get the error after the conversion bar status starts
Even if I open the "Graphing & Logging" tab by itself, it stays in the initializing state forever

I think that is related to an issue I just fixed since 120, there should be an update later today or tomorrow.

In the mean time the converted log file should be there, it is just failing to open it in the internal Log Viewer.
