MS3 to MS3X Interface
Can we see the interface between the two boards? The pinout and connector type would be helpful. Please!!!!

It's just an IDC ribbon cable. Uses a 2 x 17 header on 0.100" x 0.100" centers.

Do you have the pinout?

I was told to look at the bottom of the board, and then felt like a dumbass. Just be aware that you are not alone.

Re: MS3 to MS3X Interface
I don't have an MS3 board (yet). Would someone post the pinout?

Just out of curiosity, until you have the ms3/ms3x, what do you need to know this for?roarin_mouse wrote:please!!!!!!!!!!!!

Megasquirt is not for use on pollution controlled vehicles. Any advice I give is for off road use only.

Re: MS3 to MS3X Interface
I want the sequential injection but don't need the MOSFETs (injector drivers). I have a peak-hold driver system that accepts logic level inputs. So if the MS3x board is strictly a driver board, I won't need it but will need the MS3 as soon as it comes out.

Re: MS3 to MS3X Interface
Okay, so why the hostility? You asked why I wanted the pinout and I explained. Is the pinout a closely guarded secret? I am a fellow Megasquirter and a senior hardware electrical engineer. Isn't it also possible that I may have something to contribute? I am puzzled.

No hostility, we just need to make sure we're OK to give that information out at this point. James and I don't own that information.

Re: MS3 to MS3X Interface
I'm slowly working on the documentation and the pinouts will be included in due course.
