Re: MS3 - progress monitor
my car starts and runs ok. Getting things buttoned up with ve analize was pretty easy. I am having trouble getting dual fuel table with seq injection to work. fuel table 3 doesn't do anything, even if i change the ve values to 100. I am doing some research and such to make sure i don't have a setting wrong.

Re: MS3 - progress monitor
Have my 91 Mustang up and running. Fired it up today after finally fixing some trigger wheel problems, got the idle all dialed in and then the wideband decided to stop working. Will be looking in to the problem in the morning and taking the car out for some road tuning.

1984 Jeep CJ-7,
Engine : 2007 6.0L LY6 with L92 heads, Howard 219/230 112 LSA cam, stiffer springs from howard, VVT deleted (1X cam wheel)
Tranny : 4L80E adapted to a DANA300 Transfer case using cable encoder for VSS
ECU : MS3X + LC1 (left bank) fully sequential, 2xfan control, alternator control, exhaust cutout control, sidepipes flame thrower control
TCU : GPIO Megashift trough CAN Bus, TPS gear table, MAP pressure control
Fully running and very fun to drive, I have built the whole harness, a box big enough to put MS3 and GPIO, 8 relays, 3x8 fuse holders, switches and a whole bunch of wires.

Finished upgrading my LM7 5.3 RX7 from MS1 to MS3. Running very well. Idles and cruises great with 80lb injectors. The only thing I have not finished is turning on the IAC.

Re: MS3 - progress monitor
Selected "up and running but not finished" because there are still things I need to work out, but for all intents and purposes I am done. I don't like my idle tune, I don't like me EBC, I need to tweak my VSS settings to give me closer speed vs actual, and I really should do a good spark tune once the above is done.
Once I get my idle and boost figured out I will switch my "vote" but I don't think I will ever be completely done. I will just keep adding features and refining stuff. For example, I want to add a flexfuel sensor and do blended maps, but that only makes sense after I build the engine which is a year or two out.

Its up and running for the most part have a misfire around 1900rpm and looking to expand to the ms3x board
Re: MS3 - progress monitor
mine is a continuous work in progress, up and running but never finished is my vote. I am really enjoying the product and this forum. this forum is quite helpful and I continue to learn and then learn again about what I thought I knew.

Running 261 bhp on my mk1 mx5 with cops and boost control.... Very happy bunny
Next I'm gonna try the real time clock and the knock detection.

Volvo 242
b21FT bored and stroked to 2.4 liters
Mitsubishi 4g63 rods
offset ground crank
Weisco pistons
Stage1 turbo cam soon to be stage3
15G turbo soon to be TD05HR16G (once header is built)
Bar plate intercooler
Full Sequential !
The car runs! makes boost, and is a joy to drive Now I just need to work on the gas mileage and some rough spots in the tune.
Major overhaul on tune and calibration car is averaging 25 miles per gallon. Currently in process of finalizing header for new turbo, and getting the goods together to build a proper engine harness.

Re: MS3 - progress monitor
I'm finally done with my 1983 280zx NA fuel only install. The engine runs better now than it ever has. I even installed bigger fuel injectors and tuner studio was able to adjust the fuel mixture, now the engine runs so smooth at times we can't tell it's running. The car only has 64K miles on it and the engine is so quiet when it's running you can here the fuel injectors clicking. Getting rid of the clutch fan has a lot to do with it too.
There will be other things I'll want to do, like add GPS or a VSS. Maybe a tablet on the dash so I can monitor the MS3 at all times without my laptop.
Here's the changes from a stock 280zx we made.
MS3
320CC injectors
custom fuel rail
fuel pressure gauge
adjustable fuel pressure regulator
60MM throttle body from a Infinity Q20
Electric radiator fan, also from the Q20
Custom intake filter
Removed all old emissions stuff
Now it's on to our 1987 300zx turbo. We have began building the MS3 for it also. That one will be ignition and fuel + turbo control.

Re: MS3 - progress monitor
Mine is now in the "starting and idling" realm
Running MS3 with MS3X, in fully sequential, COP mode on an L33 5.3 HO with LS6 intake and injectors and a Getrag 265 5 speed manual 'box. The whole lot is in an AK Sportscars CObra replica Kit.
Starts, idles. Now I need to finish the accessories (knock conditioner, finish the wideband lambda wiring, and double check everything... but I think I'll worry about finishing the car build before I think about tuning. For now, I just need to make sure the clutch is working as expected (or should I say "working correctly" as I expect it will be wrong somehow ).
Rich.
