Consider source bias--- most of the posters here aren't selling anything (actual users) , and those that do are very upfront about it and are very helpful.
The folks that slag Megasquirt generally have never actually seen one lately and/or (usually) sell something else.
They may also have played with someones jacked up MS1 install 15 years ago, thus making them an "expert"on all things megasquirt, as they are all the same ... .

Always doing things the hard way, MS2 sequential w/ v1.01 mainboard, LS2 coils. 80 mile/day commuter status.

Engine in running and driving condition. Finally. Couple of long days and extra parts and it works. Now added flex sensor and after I have it running well with regular gas it´s time for ethanol. (Although I´ve been driving it at least for a year with ethanol, and without any major mods.)
