Re: Maximum Value for PW and injectortiming?

Thanks for the reply Jean.

The max duty cycle I have is 74.8% so that must be good.

The VE table (Fuelload) goes to 175% and the injectortiming table goes to 100% (fuelload) as in the pictures below.

I think that could also be a problem?

I have attached the MSQ and log in the first post.

Thanks and greetings,

Erik.

You need to adjust the load axis bins on the injector timing table to cover the range of loads you expect to see.

Big question though - why on earth do you have the whole of VE1 covering such a tiny rpm range ? This seems a huge over-complication and I would strongly suggest you get rid of that and just use one VE table. Your datalog shows that you aren't using most of VE1 in any case? (11 low rpm columns never reached)

What is the maximum planned rpm of the engine?
Your datalog shows you at 75% duty cycle at only 3200rpm. Under those conditions you will reach 85% duty by 3600rpm and will totally run out of injector by around 4000rpm - assuming you stay at the same boost level.

Thanks for the answer Jean,

So on the injector timing I must change the fuelload to 175%?

How do I get the right value's to put in the rows?

VE1 I made because I had a really rough idle, so that it was easier to tune the idle area, I will try to made a new VE for just one table.

About the duty cycle, The max RPM is 5500 the boost stays the same I can give some more LPG pressure to get the dutycycle lower?

The PW will also get lower then?

Thanks and greetings,

Erik.
