I will not install the jumper, but what does omitted mean? Should I put any resistanse, or should I connect directly the A/C unit output to pin 29?

There's an external wiring diagram in the manual.

Thank you James.

I measured the vehicle speed signal with an oscilloscope and I took the form bellow (It gives 12V
with the ignition ON). If I connect this signal to nitrous in(12V), will it be fine to measure my speed?

Yes, that looks like it should be compatible.

Can I use IAC1 as a 12V switch input for the A/C? I'm a little bit confused...

The IAC pins are all outputs, so no.

Is there any clever way to conver my 12V speed signal pulse to a ground pulse so I can use the 12V swich input for the AC?

I'd imagine that the signal is a 0-12V signal, so you can almost certainly connect it to any of the switch inputs.

My speed signal is as I posted 7 posts before. So you mean that I can connect the speed signal directly to any ground switch input?

For now if I want to switch the A/C relay, I enable the INJ2 output from the spare output port settings manualy wich is directly connected to the A/C relay. When I fix the idleup input I will set the INJ2 as idleup Output. Is it safe, or should I take any protection :?:

As for the idleup input I'm going to use JS10 or Flex. Can I give to any of them signal directly from a spare output(i.g spark H) :?:

If I want to use Flex as idleup input, what kind o signal should I give to make it Hi(signal ground,5V,...)?

The spark outputs are a 0-5V signal; you may need a transistor like a 2N2222A to make it ground the input.

Thanks Matt, if I enable the flex directly with signal ground will it be safe?
Is it also safe to drive my A/C cluch relay directly from INJ1, or do I need a protective circuit?

If I use a relay to switch signal ground to Flex, will that be fine? What will happen if Flex gets more than 0V?

I don't understand what you are driving Flex with, but Inj1 can drive an AC relay directly.

Ok nice.
I'm going to use Flex as AC input. I'm making a circuit which is going to control a relay. The relays switch will open and close ground directly to Flex, so Flex is going to meet signal ground(Flex Hi) or open circuit(Flex Low). Is that correct?

Yes racingmini, I'm waiting AD595CQ to arrive...
I'm a little bit confused about the EGT. You mean that I have to solder the cromel-alumel cables directly on the AD595CQ?
The EGT probe leads dont have to soldered DIRECTLY to the AD595 but they should be soldered to copper pads on a PCB (or plated perfboard) that is physically close to the AD595 input pins. It is possible to use connectors and extensions but they must be thesame type wire as used by the probe. There is an explanation of why and a suggestion for a PCB layout on page 4 of the AD595 datasheet http://www.analog.com/static/imported-f ... 94_595.pdf.
In theory this is correct but if you use connectors that are close enough to the AD59x to be at the same temperature, the temperature correction done in the chip will do a good job of compensating for it. So unless you are making a lab precision unit, the use of generic connectors should not be an issue.

However, if you need to make an extension to connect the probe(s) to the EGT circuit then you will need to use the proper thermocouple connectors and wires.

Sorry for digging up an old post...
But reading this, can I terminate the EGT's onto a Phoenix connector like the one in CANEGT and then use a typical flying lead of ~1" to the ADA595 chip socket pin?
The whole case and everything will be mounted inside the cabin so Phoenix terminals, flying lead and ADA595 temperature correction pins will all be the same temperature or within a degree or so.
By using a Phoenix connector I can disconnect EGT's and replace if/when they fail.
I haven't etched a board so need to get from Phoenix to ADA595 IC socket....

Thanks in advance, cheers.
