I received the 2 boards, added some header pins and wires. I followed the DIYAT MS3X harness scheme for wire colors except for black...For black I only used it where both the MS3 and MS3X are the same. I also added a second ground header pin on each board to make it easy to locate and use with typical test lead ground clips, like alligators, without having to worry about the .1" density of surrounding pins.
Here it is hanging from the MS3X jack on the DIYAT box.
Flip it end for end and it is ready to go into the MS3 jack.
Universal DB37 breakout??

I know it's a little old this thread but I needed not a "break" out board but a test access board and there seem to be none available,so,had a root around on Fleabay and came up with...
which is dirt cheap at around £11:00 , along with a db37 male solder connector I had lying around,after 20 mins in the shed it was done...you need a fine soldering tip to insert the male db37 and a dremel to remove the surplus db connector for a good fit...
Be careful of the tracks..I managed to cut 2 in the process
