I have the sensor connected and using a multi meter I can see pin 32 in the ms3x going high and low when cranking the engine between pin 32 on the ms3x and pin 7 on the ms3 card, so it appears the sensor is working. but I don't see it in the composite logger, should the cam signal be there? I can see the crank sensor.

is the msq set to use the cam sensor?

thanks for the reply. I assume once I have the ms3x taking care of the fueling in full sequential it has to look for a cam. Would I be right.

Hi James, I have added a file I saved off the composite log. Its short as I don't have the injectors/coils/O2 sensor connected so I am not running.

I think I am sorted. M52 cam sensors are hall effect 100%. I found this link and has a nice pinout. I have added the .csv file, I think its correct. I get the full sync light on the dash board.
