Missfiring sound and lambda fluctuation

Post by Josu »

Hi again!

I have some missfiring issues with my engine managed with a MS3 Pro that runs in speed density mode and fully sequential with COP.

I cant test the engine yet on the car but I am making some tests in neutral on a rig and when I rev it up to 6000 rpm it sounds like it is missfiring and the lambda value fluctuates more than usual.

I cant see any strange think in the datalog. Can you please have a look and explain me how can I identify a missfiring issue in the data log?

Can you push the space bar when the issue happens? This puts a mark in the data log that will make it easier to find when playing it back.

I will do that the next time thanks! Anyway the sound was continuous at that speed. It sounded like small explosions in th exhauts but I dont know if a missfire should sound like that.
