Adding Oil temp gauge MS3X

Post by zappen999 »

Hi i recently bought a 2 wire 1/8npt temp sensor with this datatable:

F C OHMS
100 38 465±25
140 60 232±20
200 93 98±7
240 116 49.5±5
280 138 26±3
320 160 17±1.5

I have it installed on the EGO2 input with a bias resistor. But how do i calibrate this sensor to get real values in the gauge cluster since it is not linear or same as CLT etc? Thanks

Consider using a similar sensor for the S-series Saturns: 1/8" NPT, less than $10, and standard GM calibration. Same sensor for CLT, IAT, and trans temp, so pretty common in USA. Standard Motor Products #TX73 or TX73T.

Yea that would be the easy way haha. I have installed a bias resistor @ 100ohm for EGO2 (R66) on the MS3X board. I can now read the raw data and show it in the gauge cluster.

I figure i must add the sensor values as an array in the mainController.ini file somehow?
