Mazda rotary injector support for ms3
Hello, so I asked a question last week about the omp (electric oil metering pump) support for 1.4, ken told me its coming out soon, I'm looking at putting a MS3 on to a rotary setup as soon as it has the output for omp, looking in Tuner Studio I noticed there in only four injector support for a two rotor and the motor I'm working on has six, two primary and four secondary injectors, is it possible to use an MS3 for this type of injector configuration? I know the first thing that everyone is going to say is that why would it need this much injection (6 ID1000, by the way), well to start this is no ordinary rotary setup, 90% of it is custom made and it has been running with a ems in this way for a few years, looking to switch to a VE model fueling, this is why I want to build an MS3 for it and since I've had such great success with my last two MS3's (I'm just loving the heck out of there units) plus I want to add a lot of new features like flex fuel sensor, egt's and much more.

Re: Mazda rotary injector support for ms3
Usually people just tie 2 secondaries together on each secondary channel for a setup like that. So 2 primary injectors and 4 secondaries.
Megasquirt is not for use on pollution controlled vehicles. Any advice I give is for off road use only.

Thanks, now that I think of it in batch on a v8 you fire one hole bank on one channel, I guess I was thinking for some reason that sequential it might of needed its own channel, I must have been sleeping when I was thinking of it, so how many injector can be run on one channel?

Two high impedance injectors per MS3X channel will be fine.
