We have a MS3Pro that is working OK but we can no longer get any comms.
Tried different USB cables and two different Lap Tops, both of which were communicating with the ECU up until now. When plugging the USB in with the ignition on, the lap top gives the ding you hear when an external device is connected but no device can be found.
Tried going with the current tune and detecting a comms port and also tried creating a new project and detecting. Both failed.
Any suggestions?

Re: Loss of comms
Does the MS3-Pro have power? Does the fuel-pump still prime at power-on ?

Re: Loss of comms
Fuel pump does its 2 seconds run on power up and the engine will start and run OK. The inability to connect to TS is the only problem that we can see.
The only reason the problem came to light is that we need to better tune the low end power band.

Re: Loss of comms
Can you run the Port Check program and post a screen shot of what you find? This will give us more to go on.
Also, have you tried the RS232 connection?

Matt
Sorry for delay on this.....things happen!
We are able top get good comms on the serial link but still none on the USB connection.
I will try a Port Check run when I next get at the car.

Re: Loss of comms
In that case, try upgrading to the latest driver for the USB port: http://www.ftdichip.com/Drivers/CDM/CDM ... tified.exe
