Signature Mismatch While Doing SD Convert
Tried to convert an SD log file last night and got the following error dialog:
I am assuming this to mean the firmware on the laptop does not match the MS3. Upgraded to 1.3.1 recently and have not had a problem until now. Recently I opened an msq posted by someone here and wonder if this could have caused the change in my project properties.
How do I get my project to match the MS3 again?
TIA,

Re: Signature Mismatch While Doing SD Convert
Did you notice that the second signature was totally empty?
This means that the chosen log file is empty or corrupt.

Be gentle with me
The file size of the 2 logs from last night is the same as previous good logs so I am assuming they are corrupt. Any thoughts on what might be causing this?

James? Anyone? Nothing has been changed since it last worked. Only thing that was done since was to download and look at an msq from the forum and that was done while offline.Scottie-GNZ wrote: Any thoughts on what might be causing this?
Appreciate any feedback.

Re: Signature Mismatch While Doing SD Convert
Is this on every log file on the card?
Try wiping the card or deleting some log files?

Re: Signature Mismatch While Doing SD Convert
Thanks, James.
Must be some kind of voodoo going on here as it seems 17 must be the magic (black?) number. I had 15 log files and 2 small text files when this started, maybe all of 50mb. Since they are also in the datalog directory, no need to keep them on the SD card.
Thanks again.

Re: Signature Mismatch While Doing SD Convert
I would attach the unconverted logs but the forum wont let me because they are larger than 716KB and they appear to be not simple text files so I dont know how to edit them down.

Re: Signature Mismatch While Doing SD Convert
The "very last log" should be created as a hidden file. Make sure you aren't trying to convert that one as it is empty by design. It is there so that when you press the button to start logging, MS3 can start logging right away. Otherwise, creating a logfile from scratch can take a number of seconds.
So - perhaps you have "show hidden files" enabled in your operating system?
