hi,
i'm having some issues with a ms3 extra, i've got no signal from the crank or camshaft sensors, i am trying to use the original sensors, all the other input are working. i've already adjusted r52 and r56 as sugested. all conections seem to be ok and the car was working before ms3 install.
when i started to work with it the U5 was melted, fixed this and i already have 5v in U1, but i am wondering if there could be more damaged components?
should i look for other sensors?
thanks in advance

First question - what sort of sensor and what trigger pattern are you trying to use?

crank is a VR and the camshaft is a hall, it is a 60-2 thigger wheel.
i've been looking at the board and found 2 pins of q22 soldered to each other, could this cause this problem?

That could easily be the problem.Kaiten_Ricardo wrote:crank is a VR and the camshaft is a hall, it is a 60-2 thigger wheel.

Re: psa mi16 no rpm signal
hi, i have new developments,
welded Q22 properly, and now i have signal from camshaft sensor wich is a hall sensor, i've also noticed that my booster has to be fully charged to have this signal, this can happen because the battery is in the trunk.
my question now is do i have to use another sensor? if so should i go for a hall sensor?
