Setting Fixed Timing on 7mgte

Post by 3tc power »

ok i have a 7mgte mk3 supra and the car starts on the dime and idles, I'm at the point that I'm not sure if I'm setting the timing correctly. i tried searching online but i didn't really find what i was looking for.

the above image is pretty much how my settings are, and now when i check with a strobe light my engine timing is at 8. now my question is at this point how do i adjust the degrees of the timing? do i turn my cam sensor until i get it at 10degrees or do i play with the Tooth #1 angle value?

Thanks guys!

if its a tooth wheel setup you adjust the tooth1 angle.

I'm using the factory CAS 24-1

the Trigger angle/offset(deg): would this be a better option to use while trying to get the fixed timing dead on?

the image is not my actual settings...just using it for reference reasons only.
