Fuel Pump and Pressure

Post by mr_minnis »

Cheers all,

MS3X 1.3.2
TS 2.6.01
88 Ford Mustang

I finally got my fuel pressure transducer replaced and it appears to be working. I was wondering using the Fuel Pump mode "On/Off" did anything with the sensor input. If So, does the generic sensor input configuration need to be a kPa value instead of PSI?

thanks for the information. I havent found much on this settings

If you are using a returnless setup like the newer mustangs do, then yes, set it in KPA, and set the minimum duty to 10%, Maximum Duty to 50%, and Shutoff duty to 75%. The FPDM doubles the input PWM percentage to make a fuel pump load value (20% to 100%), and if it receives a 75% signal, it immediately kills the pump.

Oh ok. No im running the old fashion relay on-off. Any reason to upgrade to the new style?
