Plx dm-6 and ms3x gauges reads .2 different
ok so i did a search before i made this thread because i don't want to make something that is already floating around. ok so i got my mk3 supra running full sequential ign and fuel. not i noticed my ms3 AFR gauge was reading .2 leaner than my PLX gauge. they pretty much move together but like i mentioned ms3 is .2 leaner for some reason. and another thing i noticed is that my car seem to like idling 13.0 better than 14.0-14.7 afr which is weird to me since I'm full sequential.
thanks in advance

Where is the wideband grounded?

What happens if you relocate that to a point approximately 1-2" from the MegaSquirt ground location?
Precision electronics require precision grounding.

so i have to use the same ground as the ms3 for them to be on the same page? or close to the same point as the ms3?Matt Cramer wrote:What happens if you relocate that to a point approximately 1-2" from the MegaSquirt ground location?

ok cool thanks for the help Matt Cramer! i will post my results when i move everything.
Re: Plx dm-6 and ms3x gauges reads .2 different
So i found out what my idle issue was. it turns out that the old delphi 880cc doesn't like to idle around 13.8-14.7 afr, seems like everyone that has them had the same issue.(they like rich idles)
but i moved my ground of the PLX DM-6 to the same ground as the ms3 but is looks like it got worse than where i had it before. on my afr calibration settings i noticed that if i select a specific calibration burn it go out and go back in the calibration settings it won't show what i had selected before. is that normal?

ok thanks kjones6039
well i moved the ground directly to the head and it seems to like it better there. not perfect but i will live with .2 difference. not moving that s*** again lmao, but thanks for the info guys i really appreciate it.
