Re: MS3 new documentation discussion
I appreciate that the we now have a release date with the manuals and online. May I suggest to add a "last edit" date to each chapter/sub chapter?
While right now it is clear, that the manuals contain the most recent information, past experience is such, that we sometimes find conflicting information on the same subject and the previous lack of reference dates in the documentation makes it difficult to know, which is the most recent information.
Since it's almost impossible to pull old info from the internet, we should at least date-stamp all the info.

Re: MS3 new documentation discussion
Section 3.4.7.2 Cranking pulse looks to be wildly out of date. Also, I can't remember off the top of my head whether the crank pulse taper is a 1.3 or a 1.4 feature, but there is no mention of it.

I would like to re-submit my request for 4.1.1 rewording. I see that it still had not been changed in the 1.4 release documentation.

Re: MS3 new documentation discussion
On page 40 of http://www.msextra.com/doc/pdf/MS3XV30_Hardware-1.4.pdf there is a reference to 3.4.9.1, "In the analogue mode, 0-5V signal is fed into JS4 or JS5 using a protective circuits as in 3.4.9.1." It is not in that manual. 3.4.9.1 is in the MS2 manual. The non 3X MS3 manual has the protective circuit, but not designated as 3.4.9.1.

Re: MS3 new documentation discussion
The new manual is missing some circuit diagrams that were in the old html ms3 manuals.
e.g. the EGT circuit examples that can be built in protoboard using the ad595cq.
Ok there's the canegt, but a quick dirty cheap way for a single egt should be in the pdf manual. (especially since the old manuals are now totally inaccessible)
Talking about something like these:
Also the old manuals were clearer in the external switch input section.
IIRC they explained exactly when to use a momentary switch and when a toggle was needed.
Now the diagram in the new manual shows all of them as momentary, but pretty sure some features need a toggle switch.
A little table explaining which feature need toggle or momentary would be very appreciated.
