everytime I do a composite log on my engine for some reason the cam signal doesn't show up even tho ive had the engine running (badly) so it must be getting fuel from somewhere im running fully sequential so I woulda thought it shouldbe showing some sort of signal

Re: confused no cam signal in comp log
Still looking for a DATAlog. Please see the Forum help page if unsure.
EDIT. The complog shows that the crank signal is working fine, but the cam is not.

Re: confused no cam signal in comp log
sorry I have not yet done a datalog I have only managed to get the engine to run twice quite badly over fuelling the whole time and I didn't have myoil pressure gauge hooked up so didn't want to run it to long just in case, oil pressure gauge is now hooked up so when I next start it ill do one, but yeah that was the point i was trying to get to that I am getting a great crank signal but no cam at all even tho the engine will run, I have adjusted the pots for the cam vr as instructed in the manual
Re: confused no cam signal in comp log
finally got a datalog for you to look at now jsmcortina its getting close to running right but still a lot of startup and idle tuning to do!
