Re: Engine dies sync lost reason 2 after firmware update
Again in this datalog you show a reported dutycycle of more than 100%. Either your injectors are too small or your tune is no good.
You should be aiming for a maximum of 85% duty cycle.
I have seen instances of injectors misbehaving at 100% duty. In any case it means that you are drawing full current from all injectors at once. Is your grounding good?

Strange thing that I was running the same injectors for 2 years without any problem and been loading even more then I boost now.
before I could run 400kpa.
Now I only changed camshafts and increase fuel about 15-20% at higher rpm.
Now I boost only 300 kpa and injector DC is allready 100%
2 days ago I could boost 350 and DC was 100% too. Something is strange.
The car was ruuning just fine without any issue for 2 years with a same setup and then I just got this problem for 3 month agow.
1700cc injectors should be enough for 1200hp with E85 and its impossible that they are too small.
I even run them at 400kpa fuel ground pressure instead 300kpa.
Then even if the injectors running 100% it should not cause sync loss?

James if you look at the latest log you see that the first sync loss the DC is only 50%

Re: Engine dies sync lost reason 2 after firmware update
I went through all my past logs and you see clearly that 90% of all cases sync loss occurs due to the duty cycle drops to zero.
Many times, the duty cycle is below 50%.
First the DC drops to zero and immediately after comes the sync loss 2
So it sounds rather like bug than interference or trigger issue

Re: Engine dies sync lost reason 2 after firmware update
I think you are misreading the logs.
When RPM-sync is lost, the RPM drops to zero, then the DutyCycle shows as zero.

Re: Engine dies sync lost reason 2 after firmware update
James I am 100% sure.
For example if you look at my latest log from today you see at the time 677.456 it drops DC and the sync loss cone straight after but the RPM stil running.
Exactly the same thing allmost on each log

same thing you can see the log I posted Wed Oct 08, 2014 8:54 am. name klippersoppa2
On this log you can see it happens several times that duty cycle drops and getting sync loss but the rpm stil running fine

Today I bought iand installed new injectors bosch 2200cc

Re: Engine dies sync lost reason 2 after firmware update (so
I installed new 2200cc bosch injectors and sync loss is gone!
Borsch 1700cc EV14 cause me a problems.
Seems like many has problems with them. They work very well below the 70% and above 70% they overheat and get crazy and even flow less.
I run 10.5 sec yestarday with a lot of spinn, too cold outside.
Will be fun to try the real drag track without spinning.
Thanks for all help guys!

Re: Engine dies sync lost reason 2 after firmware update (so
Dirving injectors is very high duty cycles is never recommended, but that behaviour is certainly weird. Glad to hear that you got it sorted.

Re: Engine dies sync lost reason 2 after firmware update (so
It might be interesting to check the old injectors with an ohmmeter.
It's not quite the same thing, but I had a boost control valve that started doing odd things, and when I finally measured its resistance it measured 4 ohms instead of the 10-12 it's supposed to be. It still worked - mostly - but didn't work right all the time and was drawing too much current.

I even borrowed the same injectors allmost new and it was the same issue.
It seems like all ID1600 and EV14 1700cc has a problems by running morethen 70%
