The main outputs are hardware PWM and have a set number of available pins that is governed by the processor design. The recently added secondary outputs are software PWM and can use a wider range of pins.

I rewired it and a setting problem pop-up.

Saying PWM group: nitrous 1/2 and inj1/2 must have the same frequency.

James, could you suggest me how I can rewired it to solve this problem?

How I have outputs wired:

- Idle valve: Injbank 1 and 2 (100hz)
- Vanos pressure accumulator: Fidle (100hz)
- VAnos valves: Nit1/2, tacho, IAC1/2, VVT, Boost, Idle (20hz)

MS: alpha 9

I attached the MSQ file to help.

Solved, I figured how I need to connected.

The cam fault is on, I don't have any value on VVT2.

Some tips to solve it? The composite log or logcrank&cam would help?

MSQ File:

https://www.dropbox.com/s/bdriitjdyd7vd ... 0.msq?dl=0

EDIT: I forget to do a log file and after that I had a problem with fuel pump "fuse".
I notice that vvt 1 3 and 4 had some fluctuation around some value like 9 deg, but vvt 2 was always 0. I tried to do the vvt test mode on all vvt but didn't work.

Any suggestion?

I didn't had time to test. There is something like composite logger but for all cams sensor to see the signal that Ms see?

The firmware includes an "engine logger" that records all cams. You need the registered version of TunerStudio to be able to use it.

Yes I have it registered.

How I use it? Just do it or I need to do something like in logcrank&cam on ignition menu ?

I know here it is, my question is how I use it? Do I use it with the engine running or do I need to change the spark mode to "logcrank&cam" like I need to get a detailed composite log?

Here is the engine log.

https://www.dropbox.com/s/jgtavug1qhk8l ... 7.csv?dl=0

VVT1 = exhaust bank 1 (CAMin)
VVT2 = intake Bank1 (JS10)
VVT3 = intake bank2 (PT4)
VVT4 = exhaust bank 2 (Datalog in)

I don't have any signal on the log on VVt1 and VVT4. I measured on the input of my custom conditioner circuit with multimeter (frequency) and I confirm that the signal is reaching the circuit.

My guess is since I wired the input pin of ms3x circuit of camin and datalog in to cpu pin, so I can use my own circuit, something there is messing up with the signal.

VVT is disabled in the MSQ you attached ?

Please post the exact MSQ you are using.

My fault.

I checked and this has VVT enable.

Generally please ATTACH right here instead of posting offsite links.

I persisted with the MSQ you attached yesterday and enabled VVT and disabled the generic PWM outputs. I don't have a full test setup to confirm all inputs, but with that MSQ and applying some kind of signal I _do_ get an input on PT2 and PT6. That points me towards an electrical problem at your end.

I didn't attached because for a couple times I tried to attach just one attach and I had a message like this "the quota for this topic was reached".

I replicate the pt4 ms3x circuit for all four cam sensors and I placed I wire to bypass cam in circuit, data log in and pt4 circuit, on ms3x. I think these circuit are still affecting the signal, do you have an easy way to totally disabled the ms3x circuit?

Now I have signal in all cams.

Two things I think is not right:

Cam flag still active.

VVT4 duty is changing, while others are constant.

I know that appears to be noise noise at vvt 1 and vvt 4 too.

I found the problem it is in vvt4 signal.

The vvt4 circuit is connected to datalog in, but I removed all its componnents and done a bypass. You can see it on the photos.

I attach the some photo of what I have done.

The tests that I did, measure resistance:

- between ground and cam signal on vvt1, vvt2, vvt3 after conditioner circuit: 3,27kohm
- between ground and cam signal on vvt4 after conditioner circuit: 340ohm
- between ground and cam signal on vvt4 with disconnected: 340ohm
- between ground and cam signal on ms3x vvt4 with disconnected: 340ohm
- between ground and cam signal on ms3x vvt4 with disconnected and ms3x db37 pin disconnected: 440ohm
- between ground and cam signal on ms3x vvt4 with disconnected and main db37 and ms3x db37 plug disconnected: 540ohm
- between ground and cam signal on ms3x vvt4 with disconnected and all plug plugs disconnected (internal and external): infinite

Any suggestions?

Are the cam sensors VR or Hall effect?

Can you post a schematic of your cam circuits?

They are all hall sensors.

They have a pull up resistor 2.2k ohm to 12v. And it uses the same circuit of pt4 ms3x circuit ( 1k ohm resistor, and 2 diodes) . All cams sensor uses their own circuit and they are all the same. Now I on the phone, later I will do the schematic.
