Unit of measurement closed-loop boost target map? Kpa? Psi?

Post by E30_Driv3r »

I'm setting up some PID boost control action on the newest release firmware, I unlocked closed-loop for my control algorithm and noticed the graph came with values of 10.0 across the chart to start. Seems a bit low to be in kpa, so is it in psi? I saw one person who posted that their target map was so I just wanna be sure before I enter 10kpa that will do nothing or 220 psi which'll do all harm and no good!

Thanks,

D.V

I haven't opened the new release yet but are you looking at the bias table or the target table? I could see 10 in the bias table for boost duty cycle

I see. I'm on 1.4.1 which is the same boost setup. It's kpa and default is just funky. I target from 220 to 300

We will fix the defaults.
Megasquirt is not for use on pollution controlled vehicles. Any advice I give is for off road use only.

Took a look at the defaults. They are already 100 across the board.
