Over run turned on.... dies at stops.

So after getting tired of the exhaust popping under partial throttle (parking lots, down hill, slight tip in on the throttle)... i turned over run on... AFTER i thought is WAS on... and it has fixed about 95% of the issues. and i am very happy with that. However, when approaching a stoplight and when i push in the clutch at about 2500ish rpm (3rd gear) to coast to the stop the car drops past idle and dies... and i have to restart. Overrun is the only thing i have changed.....


this Data log was done right before i push in the clutch/off throttle, till after it dies... not sure if that will help.

Thoughts?

Your fuel is returning but I would be getting it to return a bit higher than 1000rpm. There is a lot on that log that you can't see. I would want to be able to see what my ignition and idle control were doing at the point of fuel return trying to work this problem out. I also don't see any AFR info on that log?

ya, i had the AFR decide not to record before. i will have to go re burn the SD card info again. that did it last time.

Fuel return above 1000? do yo mean turn on progressive fuel return.....?

so found out a few things.....

high speed (50-80mph) clutch in, goes to idle just fine.

mid speed, 30-20 mph.... clutch in 2.5k ish rpm, it will drop right to death/off.... but i can bump start it by re engaging the clutch. but that is GETTING OLD.

I'm still trying to wrap my head around the Over-run settings... i know i am missing something...... but most likely not understanding.. LOL

here is a data log of the stall. with AFR this is coasting, then clutch in... you can see the RPM fall then die....

Try changing "RPM greater than" to 1500.

Bump the "lowest RPM to re-engage fuel" up to 1500 as well.

Here us a picture of the changes i made. and they WORKED... like a champ. Rpm falls, slows down and stays at idle...... WOOO
