GM TB idle screw and TPS adjustement

Post by 91blkvette »

Technical question, does the MS negate the need to adjust the TB TPS when moving the idle screw on a GM TPS equipped throttle body? Factory guidance says 0.54v is required btwn the 5v ref wire and the TPS signal wire, whenever the TB TPS adjusted. Does the MS need or care about the 0.54v?

No need to adjust the TPS but you will need to recalibrate it in TunerStudio if you move the idle screw or do anything that changes it's base position(s).
