Boost Control valve options

Post by JAM »

Now that i have a turbo mounted on my car I figure its time to get some boost control going. I see there seems to be a very common valve by MAC "Boost Control Solenoid Valve BCS MAC 35A-AAA-DDBA-1BA" seems it can be found with various hardware options all over the place

(Running MS3X planning to use the boost output)

is this a good valve, I assume it can be driven directly off the boost output? any suggestions on other valves?

It shouldn't be a problem and can wire straight to the boost output.

Boost Control valve options

Post by Buzda »

Also available is a Boost Control Solenoid Valve (BCSV) with part number 179425 available from many sources like Full Race and Treadstone Performance. This same Pierburg valve is used by OE's on modern cars, is compact, and mates to a standard EV1 style 2 pin fuel injector connector.
