I'm working on a 2JZ engine taken from an aristo.
this machine has never been imported in my country and the engine was purchased in canada.
I removed the original electrical system and replaced with ms3 pro.
I have some doubts: which of the cam sensor should I use, there are two, what strategy should I use on the solenoid placed on the vacuum tank?
I read a lot of documentation on this engine and bought a book of the Supra, but there are some differences, such as here there is no maf.
and the solenoid is not mentioned, while those for the sequential turbines seem equal.
Thank you for any advice, or link, diagram can help me in this project.
the engine will be mounted on a land rover defender
bye

We used the rear cam sensor on the MSPNP, but you can use either one.krisstek wrote:I'm working on a 2JZ engine taken from an aristo.

What exactly is the solenoid controlling?what strategy should I use on the solenoid placed on the vacuum tank?

Re: 2jz suggestions wanted
solenoid near vacuum tank is only a throttle body bypass.
is connected, but for now I'll not use
scrolling through the list of possible triggers, I saw a 2JZ.
I can use this option or it is preferable to set toothed wheel as you set in PNP supra .msq.?
sorry but between pc burnt and difficult to update tunerstudio my work has slowed down.
next post when I start.
thanks

The 2JZ VVTi mode is specifically for VVTi engines.
Pre-VVTi engines use the generic wheel mode.
