Just had the air conditioner re-commissioned and planned to use the MS3X to control it.
Wired up "Nitrous Input" (wire #29) as switched wire uses 12v.
Used "Nitrous 1" (wire #24) to the compressor
Settings for the MS3 were left very basic to make sure everything worked.
When these were sent to the controller it came up with a "Configuration Error".
Whilst trying to sort out what was the issue, I had the motor running without the error message but the idle wouldn't fall below 1400rpm and the a/c switch did not operate the a/c.
Turning the a/c idle up "off" returns everything back to normal.
I thought 2 wires and the settings would be straight forward. Where have I gone wrong????

Re: A/C Idle up - Configuration Error
You have another feature set up to use the pin that you tried to use for AC. Furthermore, you should not try to start the engine when you have a config error.
Megasquirt is not for use on pollution controlled vehicles. Any advice I give is for off road use only.

Re: A/C Idle up - Configuration Error
Ok. Went thru all the TS settings pages and found that under Advanced Engine, the Nitrous was turned on. Don't know how, but its now off so hopefully that will allow the idle up to work.
As for the starting, when I had the configuration message, I left it alone. For whatever reason, when it did load up without the error, I did start it but as it wasn't happy I shut it off.
