Hello,
I go through this every time I get the latest firmware on my MS systems. It throws errors when I load the old MSQ files into the controller with the latest firmware which is to be expected. My question is, is there a way for me to "Convert" old tune files to the new firmware compatible MSQ or do I have to try and build a new MSQ by hand every time? I updated my MS3/x to the latest firmware and now if I try to load my older MSQ it bricks the MS3 and I have to re-boot it, but it takes forever for me to move all my MSQ tune information to the new MSQ file....
Thanks, Dan
MSQ converter for new firmware?

Re: MSQ converter for new firmware?
All you should have to do is after upgrading the firmware, load your old tune file, then "save as" and it'll be saved in the newer format.
We might be able to help more if you post one of the tune files that's giving trouble.

Re: MSQ converter for new firmware?
I can't help you with your problem, but feel you don't need a "converter". Upgrading firmware has always been a trivial process for me (MS3/3X), plenty of prompts to save old calibrations and such.
