I was thinking about adding a real time barometric sensor to my setup. I have some old MS2 parts laying around and thought it would be cool to simply place another one on top of the mainboard sensor. Same mounting hole, just use a longer mounting screw, bend the leads for pins 2 & 3 down and older them to the same legs on the sensor below it (+5v & gnd). Then I could just solder a jumper from pin 1 to the ext_map input of the MS-Extra card. Is there any issue with this? It appears the ext_map circuit on the MSX is similar to the V3.0 Mainboard MAP circuit for the output pin? The newer ext_map circuit appears to have a pull-up, pull-down, and an extra capacitor. Will this work?
Thanks,
Rick

It is probably just as easy to install the sensor in the proto area and wire it to ADC6 or ADC7.
