I'm looking for an oil temp sensor and connector to use with 1/8" NPT threads.
As I understand it, the best bet is to use a T̶X̶3̶7̶ TX73sensor from Standard Motor Products. However, no matter where I look, I cannot find a connector and pigtail that goes with it.
Where can I find such a beast?
Many thanks.

Re: Where to find oil temp sensor and connector?
Is that a typo, did you mean SMP #TX73 for the sensor? For that, SMP #S1170 or Dorman #645900 are listed as connector/cable. Or, go to a JY and look for a '91-01 S-series Saturn. Those sensors are used for MAT, CLT, and auto-trans fluid for all models. But note, up to about '95 those engines had two CLT sensors, you want the connector off of the 2-wire CLT sensor. Also note that the OEM sensors were plastic-nosed and failed often. Don't get a sensor from a JY, too much risk of it being an old plastic one. Get a new sensor, only about $10!

That was indeed a typo!
Perfect, exactly the information I was looking for. Thanks very much - I couldn't find that for the life of me.

In case anybody might get confused, the TX37 is a temp sensor, but for Hondas; I think it is a gasket or O-ring seal, not 1/8" NPT
