Squirts per engine cycle - quick question

Post by Imdominant »

What i have is an Ls engine running full sequential and coil on plug. Right now the setting for "Squirts per engine cycle" are set to "1". Would a change to this number actually change anything?

Curious as to what would physically take place if i were to set it to 2...

Absolutely nothing would physically happen but with any settings other than 1 Simultaneous or 2 Alternating your duty cycle values will read wrong.

I am going to bump this topic up, because i am again curious what would a benefit be to running my full sequential ls engine on 1 squirt simultaneous as opposed to 2 squirts alternating???

my mixture always smells rich although it does read as stoich or a bit leaner at idle (in an attempt to rid myself of the constant feeling that its "rich").... ive always thought that maybe my injector pulses arent timed right

No difference at all. You'll get the same pulsewidth at the same injection angle.
