Semi-sequential on TBI

Post by jb007 »

I have a 4 cylinder A series Mini engine that has siamese inlet ports and I have 1 injector in a TBI.
Can I run sem-sequential?

To run semi-sequential, you would need at least 2 injectors. You could always use only one channel but that means you will be missing half the injection events and your engine won't get the fueling the MS expects unless you compensate with the injector settings.

Having said that, why would you want to run semi-sequential? With the mini engine and a TBI, you want to run 4 squirts per cycle to have the best chance of something close to equal fueling to all cylinders and injection timing won't do much then.
