hall sensor on axle
I have to do some exhaust work on my car and was wondering if I could mount a hall sensor on the axle where the balancing weight is, so that it acts as a axle speed measurement sensor. Would this work ?
Re: hall sensor on axle
I assume you mean to mount the sensor AT the axle, otherwise the wires would quickly get all wrapped up ...
If this weight is ferrous / trips a Hall sensor, then I don't see why not.
