i just finished off a new ms3x box someone else started. i ran it through its paces and discovered that the voltage reading was off by one full volt.
i checked 5v and it is at 4.93v 5v regulator stays cool after on for an hour.
is this acceptable?
i went and calibrated the voltage circuit using a variable dc power supply 0-24v. tuner studios was not reporting voltages below 8v so i "herded" the calibration numbers till i had accurate readings at 8.5v and 20v.
battery voltage reading acceptable?

Re: battery voltage reading acceptable?
That voltage is reasonable.
The resistors in the battery voltage circuit can sometimes be on the far side of tolerances; it sounds like you've got that problem fixed.
