VAG 1.8t AGU lost sync issue at ~5000 rpm

Post by CyccX »

Hello,

typically like most other ppl i have problem with my MS3. At ~5000 rpm i got lost sync and can not rev any higher. Also this is like one BIG lost sync becouse engine stop working at all since rpm fall down around 2000 rpm then back to life.

All this situation is logged in attachment.

I use LM1518 circiust for VR sensor, i have 4.7k resistor in series on VR+. Wires are connected to sensor corettly in 100% (when i change wires + and - i can not rev more then 2300 rpm and have lot of lost sync)

I have shielded wire from MS to VR snesor, shield is connected to gnd on body.

This ONE BIG lost sync for a while looks wierd to me, do you ting soo ??

Can you get a tooth log of this behavior? Why the lm1518 vs main board circuit?
