Is it possibly to use a 36-2 wheel on the crank instead of 18-1 on the cam wheel for full sequential injection and spark? Is this a setting in Tunerstudio that can be altered.
Do i only need to set the cam and crank sensor settings in the tunerstudio to Cam sensor trigger with this settings. So if i call the crank sensor as a cam sensor in TS and i should get full seqential.
Me and a friend of my is arguing aboute this.
Best regards

Re: Cam trigger question
A crank wheel only gives you 360 degrees of position information.
For full sequential on a 4-stroke engine, you need 720 degrees of position information. i.e. a cam sensor.

Re: Cam trigger question
Thanx, this is a 6 cyl mercedes engine. is the calculation diffrent then? i belive not.
So now i know who owns who 500 bucks. I also ment that every turn on the crank only gives you the 180 degree turn for every round.
