Help with PWM fuel pump settings

Post by jon volk »

I would appreciate if someone could give me some guidance on my PWM fuel pump settings. The harder I roll into the throttle, the greater the dip in fuel pressure is. It seems to catch up, but much slower than Id like. Being fuel in a turbo application, Id rather not just play trial and error. Attached is my tune and todays log.

On a related note, I may just switch to Open loop and use the table. On the left axis, it calls for fuel load percent. Does this reflect the VE value or KPA value in the fueling table?

Fuel load percent is the same variable used on the VE table. On speed density, that would be kPa.

I would crank up the I term a lot in the PID loop. It's reacting rather slowly.
