I am in the process of doing some upgrades to a customer car including a switch to flex fuel. We have one of the new style GM sensors made by Continental and apparently it's an open collector sensor. Will I need to add a pull up to the output or is there already one built into the MS3X flex input?
Thanks
Jeff

Re: New GM (Continental) Flex fuel sensor... needs a pull up
If youre connecting to MS3X, it should be plug and play. I needed to supply the sensor with 12 volt, signal ground, and signal return.

The MS3X already has the pullup and protection/filtering circuit built in. MS2 needs the circuit built in the proto area as per the manual.
